This is my entry for 's kick ass contest.

Name: Karin Fables (prefers to be called RIN)

Occupation: incoming 4th year High school at a very prestigious school.

Likes: Cute things, Her best friend Amy, her imaginary friend Atanas, her classmates, malling, Video games(preferably Fighting games) and action movies.

Hates: Her insecurities, Bullies, jerks, selfish people and anyone else who picks on anybody (She thinks their idiots for doing so in the first place)

Abilities: Becomes stronger and faster the more she hurts and damages objects(and people). Also has an imaginary friend named ATANAS who helps her in battle. He appears as a black or sometimes blue iconic aura of a forgotten god.(think zappa's Super special in Guilty Gear XX) she is also able to take alot of damage. Because of Atanas she has other abilities which will present themselves in the future.
Weakness: Fear of deep water, cant swim, Ice cream and Blue berry cheese cake, Or anything cute for that matter.

Story so far:
Rin is a very carefree person. She is always cheerful. The epitome of a big sister to all her friends in class and is very protective of Amy. But that was when Amy was alive. A Week has passed since Amy’s funeral. She still could not understand why things had to end that way for her. It was their final year in high school. Lying down in bed she blames herself for everything. Why couldn’t she save her friends? But more importantly why couldn’t she save Amy? She was still so young. She never noticed that Amy had a problem. She then hates herself. Her parents worry about Rin but they let her be for now. They know they can’t do anything. That night her parents got into a big fight.


One night Rin noticed something moving in the closet. She opens it only to find Amy. Bloodied, disfigured by bullet holes but still smiling warmly at her. Rin begins to cry. Then she wakes up. She finds herself in her room. An empty room that was once filled with laughter during those Friday night sleep over’s. Amy always loved to hide in the closet. The room is empty now but Rin knows that there is someone other then herself in the room at the moment. Not someone, but something. It approaches her. Rin gets that feeling of nostalgia. A familiar feeling lost in someone else’s memory. But who’s? The creature looked like something that chased her thru her dream once. It took the form of a large grotesque wolf that looked almost made wholly of shadows. It tells her of Amy and how much of a fool she was. Rin lashes out. But the creature was fast and slick, it jumped on top of Rin’s bed. The creature then told her that if she would participate in an event he can show her to someone who might be able to bring Amy back provided of course that she wins. The wolf tells her to follow her if she changes her mind. The closet then opens and the wolf makes his exit thru it. Rin stood there. She thought about what just happened. She thought about her sanity. But she was able to decide fast and so she ventured towards the closet. At that time Rin’s imaginary friend held her arm. He told her not to go and that what she was doing was Selfish. If she succeded She would only bring suffering to Amy's now resting soul. But Rin wouldn’t listen. She opened the closet and for a brief moment she thought she saw Amy. Rin steps thru the door


The closet did not look like what it was suppose to be. It was not a closet but a passage way with a light at the far end. The passage was long and narrow, damp and old. It lasted forever. When she arrived at the end the wolf was waiting for her. She wasnt surprised that she was wearing her School uniform. She then questions her sanity. People don’t just talk to Wolves let along go thru their closets. The wolf smiled and in a mocking tone told her that there is a place for crazy people not far from where they were. Rin then asked about Amy. She asked if it was all true. The wolf smiled and told her she would find out if she won. Rin was infuriated with this answer but she did not show it. She smiled. She decided to go along with it. She went near the wolf and stroked its mane. She was filled with hope once more. She thanked the wolf for giving her that much. The wolf smiled. They both smiled. The wolf then said that her friend from before was right. She was being selfish. She said to the wolf that she hates selfish people but for once she can allow herself to be one to save her friend. Rin knows for certain that Amy's soul is not in peace. Anyone who lived and died that way is never at peace in the end. She then told the wolf that if it were lying she would break its neck. They both continue smiling. Then they start walking. And so Rin begins her walk of madness. Her journey to the end. . .
