Captures the rampant nature of the 40K universe very well, and at the same time a degree of humanity thanks to the fellow in the foreground being cradled. Excellent!

What this picture does is bust open the warhammer stereotype. In every fan art and cover illustration the Warhammer40k soldiers are uncaring, often faceless killing machines (if you read the flavor text, they really are that way) but you've shown that in a future where mankind is constantly at war, the emotion can cut through the numbness and still show humanity beneath.
Blood for the blood god? Sure but who's? Long Live the emperor of mankind? Okay, but at what price?
Dude this is some stunning work! I'm a Warhammer 40,000 player and to see some artwork like this is just breathtaking. Keep it up man this is some sick work!
